BILL HATLEY
TEAM TRIP LEADER
Having surrendered to God’s call into ministry while in high school, Bill Hatley considered that calling might be into full time foreign missions. While pursuing his education he came to understand that teaching about missions and leading short term mission projects were going to be significant aspects of his ministry. Together with Sabra, his wife of 27 years, Bill has led numerous trips with youth and college students throughout
North America.
In 2007, on his first mission trip to Central America, Bill sensed that God would one day have him more heavily involved in mission projects in that region. After his initial trip with Hope Project, when the opportunity to join the Hope Project staff was presented, Bill realized that God had been preparing him his entire ministry for such a time as this. He is excited to join the Hope Project team in their continued efforts to reach the children and families of Nicaragua and beyond.
